Scope & Application
- The Flow Cup Viscometer is used for the determination of flow time (efflux time) of paints, varnishes, lacquers, enamels, resins, and other Newtonian or near-Newtonian liquids. The instrument provides a rapid, empirical indication of kinematic viscosity for quality control, formulation control, and process monitoring. (Efflux Type – For Paints, Varnishes & Related Materials)
Measuring Range
- Suitable for materials with kinematic viscosity from approx. 25 to 150 cSt, Applicable only where the break point of the efflux stream is clearly identifiable
