Soil Permeability Apparatus For Variable Head Test

Applications:

• It is used for measuring the coefficient of permeability of soil for the maximum size of particle 10mm.

The set up consists of following Parts and Accessories:

1. Gunmetal mould 100 mm diameter x 127.3 mm height x 1000 ml volume with collar of 100mm dia X 60mm high (as per IS:11209 - 1985)
2. Supplied with collar of 100mm diameter x 60 mm high and drainage base plate
3. Drainage cap
4. Metallic clamping ring
5. Two porous stone for base and cap
6. Dummy plate
7. Air release valve
8. Rubber tube of 3 meter length
9. Pinch cock for rubber tube
10. With a set of three glass stand pipes approximately 6mm, 10mm, and 20mm diameter x 1 meter length mounted on a wooden board
11. The end of the glass tube is serrated to connect rubber tube of 3 meter length with pinch cock.
12. Tank for Constant head test available at extra cost.
